So for the past few years, I had been trying to get fit and healthy, to really maintain a lifestyle that is positive for both my mind and my body. For a while, I tried what I think a lot of people in my situation try: using Youtube and browsing random discussions on all the random forums. Where did this leave me?
Well, not much was changing. I still hadn’t gained much muscle, I was struggling to eat healthy, and worst of all, I couldn’t establish a regular routine to save my life. I wasn’t measuring progress, but I was getting plenty filled up with frustration. Something had to give.
And here’s what happened: one Saturday I was doing an exercise that I had seen on a Youtube video. Looking back, I can see that this was just some random guy in a gym touting himself. He didn’t have experience or the knowledge to be showing anyone anything. But I found that out the hard way when, I injured myself doing this guy’s recommendation. Chalk it up to poor form, the wrong exercise at the wrong time, going too fast… any one of these.
What matters here is that I needed something that made sense and worked, but also had experienced trainers behind it. And because I do most of my working out on my own schedule, and I’m a busy person, I also needed a program that was flexible.
Enter Beachbody On Demand. Now, I’m not going to sugarcoat this review. I’m going to give you the honest truth about what I liked and disliked about this program. This way, you can make an honest assessment yourself.
What I Liked Best About Beachbody On Demand
For me, there were two big perks to Beachbody On Demand, and they really made me love it. The first is that I can work out anytime I want, 24/7. It really is “on demand.” With all the streaming videos, you can get on when you want, wherever you want. Feel like working out first thing in the morning? You can do that. Did you have a late night at the office and you need to release some steam? You can work out then too. Since there’s so many choices too, there’s plenty to keep you busy and a lot of new stuff to try. This worked really well for me.
The second thing that I liked best about Beachbody On Demand is the trainers. Yes, that’s right. Experienced trainers with real reputations and real cred. Horton, Johnson, Kalev. These names are known in the industry. I could work out in confidence because I knew I wasn’t getting instruction from some joker who happened to feel like making a Youtube video. These are professionals, and they’re your best resource.
Here’s a few more things that I enjoy about Beachbody On Demand:
I also really liked the 30 day free trial. Call me skeptical, but I like to be able to try something out to make sure it’s the real deal. I also like to see companies that stand by their products, and 30 days was more than enough time for me to see that this was going to work.
There’s also the fact that Beachbody On Demand works on any device. I’m not the most tech-savvy person in the world, so I don’t have time to be messing around, trying to figure out how I can watch streams. Plus, the fact that I was able to access all these awesome workouts when I was traveling for business was really phenomenal. That was one area that always made it difficult for me to establish healthy routines, but Beachbody On Demand solved this for me in a big way.
A Few Pros and Cons
But let’s get to the real deal, the pros and the cons. I promised a completely honest review.
- The programs are popular and well-known. P90X, Insanity, 21 day Fix.
- Programs your friends talk about.
- There’s just about everything you can imagine, so there’s for sure something that will work with you. From yoga to dance and weights to cardio.
- Plenty more perks like workout calendars, nutrition plans, and progress trackers. Did I mention that this helped me tackle my routine?
- I also loved that I got a personal coach. Even just being able to get some support one-on-one was immensely helpful.
- While you do get a discount at the Beachbody On Demand store, I’d love to see a free t-shirt so I can promote the site in my personal life.
- I’d also like to see some text messaging integration for reminders. This isn’t a deal breaker at all, but it would be pretty cool to see.
And what you all probably want to know most: My Results
Really, my results speak for themselves. Unless you’ve experienced it, it’s hard to explain how amazing it feels once you’ve gotten yourself on track with health and fitness. I thought I’d feel tired all the time once I established a routine for working out, but the opposite is true. I feel like Beachbody On Demand has given me more energy than I’ve ever had.
I’ve lost weight, 15 lbs in fact. I’m also ripped! When I go out, friends ask me how I’ve made such a big change. They see the results. I’m also eating healthy and loving it, and I really thank Beachbody On Demand for getting me on track here.
At the same time, my results haven’t stalled. I continue to try new workouts from the site and continue to see progress. You could even say that working out and being fit is my thing now! I know that’s what so many of my friends are saying. But for me, it’s just about looking great and feeling great. How can you beat that?
After so many years of not seeing results, it’s really awesome to finally be attaining them.
Best Place to Buy Beachbody On Demand?
I picked up Beachbody On Demand right from the official Beachbody website, which is the only place where you can purchase it from currently.
They are also offering a FREE 7 day trial so you can test it out and see if it’s right for you before committing anything financially. It’s a great deal all around.
Placing the order was very simple. All I had to do was fill out some information and place my order. The site is really easy to navigate, and I was done in minutes.
I’m a big fan of Beachbody On Demand. It allows you to not only try out various workouts from all the different programs Beachbody offers without paying full price for any single one, but also to take these workouts with you wherever you go.
Out of all their products, I feel On Demand is one of the best values for the money.
Try it out, you won’t be disappointed!
