Panorama Synergy Ltd is pleased to announce that Terry Walsh, an existing shareholder in the company, has agreed to assume the role of CEO.

John Athans will remain as a Board Member.

Until recently, Mr Walsh had been with Cisco Systems Inc ("Cisco") since 1995 and has more than 28 years experience in the technology industry. He served in various capacities with Cisco during his time there, including leading Cisco Australia / New Zealand's Telecommunications business, serving as Cisco ANZ's Managing Director for a number of years before being prompted to CEO for Cisco Canada’s operations for approximately 5 years.

During this tenure as Cisco Canada's CEO he more than tripled Cisco's revenues there and raised Cisco Canada to one of Cisco's Top 5 performing countries in the world.

Mr Walsh also served on The Hon Senator Richard Alston’s Broadband Advisory Group in 2004/05 and was Co-Chair of the Canadian e-Business Imitative, providing recommendations to the Canadian Government. Mr Walsh also serves as a member of the Board of Governors of the Smith Family, an Australian organisation dedicated to the improvement of the quality of life and education of our disadvantaged youth.

We believe Mr Walsh's significant experience, technology knowledge and industry relationships will be a major asset in furthering PSY's vision for the future.

Dr. Neil Grice

Chief Scientist

Dr. Grice obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD in Tribology from the University of Central Lancashire in the UK. He has worked extensively on the university/industry interface for several years and has relevant experience in developing successful commercial relationships involving joint research and development programs. Dr Grice has successfully applied for and managed very large European funded R&D projects with multiple partners; gaining skills in cross disciplinary project management and budgetary control.

Dr. Roger Jeffrey

Dr. Jeffery has extensive experience in broadband communications systems, smartcard point of sales (POS) terminals, fibre optics and ASIC/FPGA design. He was awarded a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics and Computer Science) and Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics) from Adelaide University and a Doctor of Philosophy (Backscatter in Optical Fibres) from the University of Western Australia, where he has delivered lectures in communication networks,

He was one of the founders of QPSX Communications Ltd where he worked as a project manager on the world’s first IEEE 802.6 Metropolitan Area Network product, subsequently licensed by Alcatel and Siemens. While working for an Australian POS terminal manufacturer, he led the project team developing a low cost smartcard recharge system-on-chip, which has since been manufactured in quantities in excess of 300k.

From 2000 until 2004, Dr. Jeffery was with SMR Electronics, an ASIC/FPGA design service company where he successfully led several large projects and later became a Director. In 2004 he became involved with the Technology at Panorama Synergy and has published several papers in the magneto-optics area.
